Getting started on a couple of asphalt driveway projects in Romeoville. The crew is currently in the prep phase removing the old surface, grading, and preparing the base for new hot mix asphalt Installation. Proper preparation is one of the biggest parts of building a driveway that lasts, and that starts long before the new asphalt is installed. We’re also making sure all transitions around the garage, sidewalk, and apron areas are prepared correctly for a clean finished result once paving begins. Looking forward to showing the final transformation once everything is complete. Also wanted to give a shoutout to the Village of Romeoville staff for being great to work with during the permit process. Fast communication and quick turnaround times are always appreciated.
