Performance Waterproofing LLC delivered the complete waterproofing and joint-sealant scope for a two-building new construction development in Huntsville, AL. Crews applied Tremco Vulkem® 360NF/951NF pedestrian traffic coating across approximately 1,775 sq ft of balcony decks and Vulkem® 360NF/950NF/951NF across roughly 6,700 sq ft of parking garage deck above the electrical and mechanical rooms, all preceded by pressure washing, surface prep, and new sealant at joints, transitions, and terminations. Two balcony units received the Tremco PUMA pedestrian coating system over polymer sloping material. On the exterior envelope, the team installed about 26,700 linear feet of Tremco Spectrem® 2 silicone at window and door perimeters and 9,740 linear feet of Spectrem® 1 at dissimilar-material transitions — metal to masonry, concrete to brick — using Trem-Prime primers, closed-cell backer rod, and an 80-foot boom lift for upper façade access. A separate approved scope added nearly 16,000 linear feet of STI ES-105 intumescent fire caulking with mineral wool backer at 2- and 3-hour rated joints, plus Dymonic® 100 at non-rated joints, across both parking garages, the first floors, lobby mezzanine, and second floor. An additional change order covered removal of conflicting membranes at raised concrete edges, epoxy mortar repairs at balcony edges, and re-sealing of brick façade-to-balcony transitions.
