We completed a comprehensive exterior restoration on this log-style home in Readfield. The scope of work involved detailed surface preparation to address peeling paint and weathered wood alongside essential carpentry repairs. We replaced rotted siding near the foundation and installed new pressure-treated wooden stairs and a walkway to enhance the home’s exterior functionality. For the finishing stage, we applied Benjamin Moore Woodluxe water-based exterior stain in Bennington Gray. This product was chosen for its ability to protect the wood grain while providing a modern, uniform look across the siding and deck. The final result successfully stabilized the building envelope and revitalized the property's overall aesthetic.
