This ceiling had been installed directly beneath the roof line with no insulated space above it, allowing significant temperature transfer and contributing to ongoing moisture and mold-related issues. At the customer’s request, we created a more finished and better-protected ceiling system by covering the exposed beams with new drywall, installing insulation to help regulate temperature and reduce condensation, and fully finishing the drywall for a smooth, clean appearance. The photos shown were taken while some areas of the ceiling and walls were still wet from fresh paint, so the final finish had not yet fully dried. After these photos were taken, the existing lighting was reinstalled and upgraded with brand-new recessed can lights to brighten the space and complete the transformation.
