Electrical Repair using GFCI
In our recent project, we addressed specific needs for a nine-year-old home, catering to the original homeowners. Here's a recap of the key observations and enhancements: Homeowner's Request: The homeowners expressed a desire to add an outlet on the back porch for a TV, enhancing their outdoor entertainment options. Main Electrical System Inspection: We thoroughly inspected the main electrical system, checking voltages at both outdoor and indoor panels to ensure everything meets safety standards. Surge Protection Gap: Notably, there was no surge protection present on the electrical system. Recognizing the importance of safeguarding electronic devices, we recommended and implemented surge protection for comprehensive coverage. Circuit Extension and GFCI Installation: To accommodate the new outlet, we extended an existing circuit by approximately 10 feet. Additionally, we installed a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) for enhanced safety. VIP Program Inclusion: As part of our commitment to ongoing service, the homeowners are now enrolled in our 1-Year VIP Problem Preventers Program, ensuring proactive solutions and priority service. This project recap highlights our focus on meeting specific homeowner requests, ensuring safety, and addressing electrical system needs comprehensively.
