We completed a comprehensive underdecking installation for this multi-story residential property in Charlevoix. Our team addressed exposed, discolored wooden joists beneath second-story balconies by installing a finished ceiling system. This project focused on creating a clean, dry environment for the entrances located directly below the upper deck structures. We utilized white-paneled soffit materials and decorative architectural brackets to seamlessly match the existing siding and trim. The new underdeck system effectively manages moisture while providing a polished aesthetic that replaces the previously unfinished structural elements. This upgrade significantly improves the durability and visual appeal of the home's exterior entryways.
