We completed a full bathtub and shower replacement for this home in Traverse City to modernize an aging alcove. We removed the original beige fiberglass unit and installed a new, durable acrylic bathtub system with a textured wall surround. This transformation updated the bathroom's aesthetic while resolving issues with the previous damaged basin. The new installation features a white subway-style pattern with integrated corner shelving for improved storage. For enhanced safety and convenience, we added a metal grab bar and a handheld showerhead on a vertical slide bar. A curved shower rod was also installed to provide additional interior space during use, resulting in a cleaner and more functional bathing area.
