The client had a large yard but most of it was unusable. With kids growing they wanted an area for playscapes and later shaded dining. We completed a retaining wall project in Austin to manage slope stability and prepare the yard for new landscaping. Our team handled the entire process, from initial site layout and excavation to the installation of critical drainage systems. We laid a foundation of crushed gravel and landscape fabric to ensure proper water runoff behind the structure. For the wall itself, we utilized lime stone blocks to create a durable and functional design. Once the structural components were in place, we filled the raised areas with topsoil and finished the beds with fresh mulch. The result is a clean, level outdoor space that provides both structural support and defined area to extend the clients yard .
