We completed a full residential roof replacement for this home in Poway, beginning with a complete tear-off of the aged asphalt shingles. After stripping the roof to the original wooden decking, we inspected and replaced weathered fascia boards and structural rafters to ensure a solid foundation. We then installed a high-performance Malarkey roofing system featuring Golden Amber Highlander Cool series shingles and Secure Start Lite synthetic underlayment for long-term moisture protection. These shingles are Title 24 compliant and feature NEX Polymer Modified Asphalt technology. This process infuses the asphalt core with upcycled rubber and plastic polymers to create a flexible, rubberized shingle with enhanced weather and hail resistance Our team also upgraded the home's ventilation with new turbine vents and pipe flashings while carefully sealing the red brick chimney with custom metal flashing. The project successfully restored the structural integrity of the roof while modernizing the aesthetic to match the property’s distinct red trim.
