We completed an extensive flat roof sealing and structural waterproofing project at the Coronado Tower. Our team focused on securing and sealing mechanical equipment bases, structural steel frames, and critical pipe penetrations across the facility's roof surfaces. We installed new painted steel I-beams and support frames to elevate and stabilize industrial HVAC units and storage enclosures. To ensure a seamless and durable seal, we applied Castagra Ecodur Polymeric MDI restoration coatings to all structural transition points and equipment curbs. This specialized coating system was meticulously hand-applied around complex penetrations and over concrete foundations to prevent corrosion and moisture infiltration. The finished installation provides a high-performance barrier that extends the life of the roofing system and protects the building's essential infrastructure.
