We performed a comprehensive residential roof replacement for this coastal home in Leucadia located in the city of Encinitas. Our crew removed the existing materials and performed essential structural repairs to the plywood decking and exposed timber eaves. We integrated multiple roofing systems to effectively address both the steep-pitched and low-slope flat sections of the residence. We utilized Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration Cool shingles (Title 24 Energy Efficient Upgrade) paired with high-performance Titanium PSU30 synthetic underlayment for superior moisture protection and installed durable architectural asphalt shingles. For the flat roof areas, we applied a modified bitumen system to ensure long-term weather resistance against the salt air. The project was finalized with high-quality copper flashing and plumbing vent boots to provide a secure and lasting finish.
