We completed a comprehensive roof replacement for this two-story Spanish-style home in Altadena. Our team removed the existing roofing materials and performed a multi-surface installation involving both red asphalt shingles and traditional terracotta clay tiles. We carefully coordinated the project to ensure structural integrity while preparing for seamless solar panel integration across the various roof planes. We installed terracotta barrel tiles and red composite shingles, utilizing specialized mounting hardware to secure solar arrays across the pitched surfaces. The process included applying durable underlayment, sealing transitions with metal flashing, and finishing the ridges with precise mortar work. This dual-material approach preserved the home's classic aesthetic while significantly improving its energy efficiency and long-term weather protection.
