We completed a concrete coating project for a residential patio and stair landing in West Des Moines. Our team prepared the outdoor concrete surfaces beneath an existing elevated wooden deck to ensure a long-lasting bond. We applied the coating to the main patio area as well as the rectangular landing pad at the base of the deck stairs. We used a light gray flecked polyaspartic coating to provide a durable, textured finish that complements the home's gray siding. This multi-colored aggregate finish masks concrete imperfections and creates a slip-resistant surface that stands up to the Iowa elements. The final result upgraded the utility of the outdoor living space while protecting the underlying concrete.
