Architectural Shingle Roof Repair and Custom Copper Flashing in Germantown
We completed a roof repair project for this Germantown home, addressing both steep-slope shingle areas and low-slope transitions. Our team removed the existing materials and installed new dark grey architectural asphalt shingles across the main roof planes. We specifically targeted problematic areas around the windows and brick chimneys where we reinforced custom copper flashing to prevent future leaks. The project involved the application of synthetic underlayment and SA-SBS cap sheets to ensure a reliable moisture barrier for the flat roof sections. We replaced the old, failing sealant and flashing with durable metallic transitions along the painted brick walls. This combination of materials and precise installation provides the building with a rejuvenated exterior and enhanced weather resistance.
