Low slope / flat roof repair completed in Forest Hills Wilmington NC using a high-performance self-adhered roofing system. This project utilized CertainTeed Flintlastic SA PlyBase and Flintlastic SA Cap Sheet in Moire Black to restore waterproofing and extend the life of the roof. The self-adhered modified bitumen system provides strong adhesion, superior leak protection, and long-term durability—ideal for low-slope applications in Wilmington’s coastal climate. Custom 16 oz copper flashing (3' x 10' sheets) was installed at critical transitions to enhance waterproofing and provide long-lasting corrosion resistance. This repair addressed active leak areas, reinforced vulnerable sections, and improved overall drainage performance to prevent future ponding. Designed for durability and weather resistance, this system ensures reliable protection against heavy rain, humidity, and coastal exposure.
