We completed a comprehensive deck replacement for this home in Aldie, removing a severely weathered and decaying wooden structure. The original support posts and stairs exhibited significant wood rot, necessitating a full teardown and structural reconstruction. We prioritized safety and site preparation throughout the demolition process, utilizing protective plywood and specialized equipment to ensure the lawn and driveway remained undamaged. For the new build, we installed gray wood-grain composite decking designed for low maintenance and longevity. The project was finished with a modern white vinyl railing system featuring black balusters, creating a sharp contrast against the home’s white siding and brick foundation. This upgraded outdoor living area provides a secure, visually appealing transition from the house to the yard while eliminating the need for constant staining and repairs.
