This is where the hard work of millions of honey bees flows into our waiting, sting-filled hands. Metric tons of honey is extracted from the hives here every year. It truly is Sweet American Gold! When the 1,600 honey bee colonies make their way here from East Texas they are placed at a few dozen apiaries around the countryside around Grand Forks, North Dakota. All the harvest honey frames are brought to the Honey House on the family farm and extracted before the snow falls.
