Historic Facade & Glass Restoration: The Renata at the Brandeis Restoring the intricate masonry of a historic luxury high-rise requires precision, specialized chemistry, and advanced technology. For this project, Rolling Suds of Omaha deployed a heavy-lift drone to execute a targeted, low-pressure exterior soft wash. By utilizing drone technology, we successfully navigated the building's towering, narrow alleyways and delicate architectural cornices without the liability, footprint, or potential structural damage associated with heavy boom lifts or scaffolding. This comprehensive exterior package was executed in three strategic phases: Hazard Remediation: Complete tear-down and removal of failed, heavily fouled bird netting that was actively trapping corrosive biological waste against the historic limestone and causing runoff onto public sidewalks. Historic Soft Wash: A drone-assisted chemical application with extended dwell times to safely extract embedded carbon soot and biological stains without using destructive high pressure on the aged mortar. Coordinated Glass Care: A seamless, multi-level window restoration executed alongside our partners at Doctor Pane to eliminate chemical runoff, hard-water spotting, and fully restore the commercial and residential glass. This showcase highlights our ability to deliver zero-impact, high-reach environmental restoration that protects property value and elevates the curb appeal of premier downtown assets.
