We completed a comprehensive roof replacement on this two-story residential home in Wilmington. The project involved a full tear-off of the existing shingles to inspect the structural integrity of the roof deck. We identified and replaced several sections of damaged plywood sheathing to ensure a solid and secure foundation for the new roofing system. Our team installed a CertainTeed Landmark shingle system in Colonial Slate, following strict Fortified standards for enhanced durability. We utilized high-performance components, including WinterGuard waterproofing underlayment, SwiftStart starter strips, and Shadow Ridge ridge caps to provide superior protection against coastal weather. The final installation included new ridge vents for improved attic ventilation and specialized fasteners to meet rigorous storm-resistance requirements.
