RGR Construction and Roofing prepared an interior elevator shaft at this home in Oak Island, NC. Working within the open wall and floor framing, our team added wood framing, Microllam LVL members and metal connectors around the vertical chase, with fiberglass insulation in the wall cavities. The completed framing established the shaft area for the residential elevator. These two construction views show the framing layout and a closer look at the engineered wood and insulation before the shaft was enclosed.
