We completed a comprehensive residential roof replacement in Edmonds that addressed both pitched and low-slope surfaces. Our team performed a full tear-off of the existing shingles and rolled roofing to inspect the underlying roof deck. We identified and replaced several sections of deteriorated and rotted wood decking with new plywood and ZIP System sheathing to ensure a stable foundation. For the flat roof sections, we installed new insulation boards and a durable membrane system, while the sloped sections received architectural asphalt shingles and GAF FeltBuster synthetic underlayment. We prioritized long-term weatherproofing by installing new chimney flashing, specialized pipe boots, and metal chimney caps. The finished project integrated a new skylight and improved transitions to ensure moisture protection for years to come.
