We transformed an unfinished basement with a cracked concrete subfloor into a clean and functional living space by installing a durable epoxy coating system. Our team began by addressing structural concerns, which included repairing significant cracks and applying sealant along the perimeter walls to ensure a stable foundation. We also performed necessary floor preparation involving trenching and patching to create a seamless surface for the final finish. We applied a light-colored, multi-fleck epoxy coating that provides a granite-like appearance and significantly enhanced durability throughout the space. The new finish integrates perfectly with the existing utility features and sump pump while offering a moisture-resistant surface that is easy to maintain. This upgrade turned a utility-focused storage area into a polished, cohesive environment suitable for recreation.
