Leak at Main Entrance – 5 Ft from Door (Ceiling Light Area)Observation: Ceiling leak identified near the main entrance, approximately 5 feet from the front door, surrounding a light fixture. Signs of prior moisture damage suggest compromised shingles and underlayment above the area. Proposed Solution:- Carefully open a 5 ft x 5 ft section of the shingle roof above the affected area.- Remove any damaged shingles and underlayment.- Install 30# asphalt felt underlayment, secured with 1 1/4” RS nails and tin caps.- Apply roof cement to seal edges and penetrations.- Install new shingles to match the existing roof system and seal with roof cement.
