Canopy raising and selective pruning were performed on a mature Douglas fir to improve light penetration to the resident’s garden while maintaining structural integrity and tree health. Two lower canopy rows were carefully reduced using ANSI A300 pruning standards to preserve natural form, reduce excess shade, and maintain appropriate clearance from surrounding landscape features. All cuts were made by ISA Certified Arborists to support long-term vitality and safe growth in a residential setting in Burien, WA.
