We completed an emergency tree removal and storm cleanup for a homeowner in Sammamish after a large tree failed and posed an immediate risk to the home and surrounding property. Upon arrival, our ISA Certified Arborist assessed the failure and identified structural defects within the trunk, including decay and splitting, which likely contributed to the tree’s collapse. Our crew safely removed the fallen tree using controlled cutting techniques to prevent further damage to the structure and landscape. Due to the size and condition of the tree, special care was taken to manage tension in the wood and avoid additional breakage during removal. All debris was processed and cleared from the site, leaving the property safe, clean, and ready for replanting or landscaping. This project highlights the importance of proactive tree risk assessment, especially in areas like Sammamish where large conifers and saturated soils can increase the likelihood of tree failure during storms.
