We completed a comprehensive outdoor facility project in Grimes, Iowa, focusing on the installation of professional playground equipment and outdoor surfacing. Our team managed the entire site preparation process, which included excavating for reinforced concrete footings and utilizing Sonotube forms with steel rebar cages to anchor the main support posts. We installed several modular play structures, including infant and toddler play houses, along with cantilevered shade structures to ensure a comfortable environment for all users. For the surfacing, we performed precise core drilling through existing concrete slabs and laid high-performance synthetic turf over a compacted sub-base for maximum durability. The project involved the integration of diverse components such as Bongo Perches, climbers, and custom shade fabrics to create a multi-functional and safe outdoor space. This installation provides a long-lasting, low-maintenance solution designed to withstand heavy daily use.
