We completed a comprehensive roof replacement for this single-story residence in Mineola. The project involved removing the existing roofing and installing new OSB decking to provide a stable foundation for the updated materials. We utilized grey architectural asphalt shingles for the pitched surfaces and a high-performance dark membrane for the flat sections surrounding the brick chimney. For maximum weather protection, we integrated Tri-Built underlayment, DensDeck roof boards, and specialized flashing at the ridge and valleys. Our team also installed new ridge vents and square attic vents to ensure proper attic ventilation and long-term shingle durability. The finished system provides a cohesive, weather-tight seal that enhances the home's protection and curb appeal.
