We completed a comprehensive roof replacement on this detached garage and outbuilding in Red Oak. Our team performed a full tear-off of the existing weathered asphalt shingles and wood shakes to address significant moss growth and interior water damage. We stripped the structure down to the original skip sheathing to ensure a solid foundation for the new roofing system. To provide a stable surface, we installed new plywood decking across the entire roof before applying a synthetic underlayment and high-quality asphalt shingles. We also replaced the damaged drainage system with new white aluminum gutters and integrated perforated gutter guards to prevent future debris buildup from the surrounding mature trees.
