We performed a targeted roof repair in Overland Park to address localized shingle damage and aging transitions around the chimney. Our team identified areas of wear across the asphalt shingles and systematically replaced damaged components to restore the roof's protective layer. We specifically focused on securing the roof-to-wall intersections where the brick masonry meets the roofline. To ensure long-term moisture protection, we installed new GAF Seal-A-Ridge shingles and replaced the metal flashing at the base of the brick chimney. We also constructed a cricket to properly divert water and applied a thick layer of high-grade sealant along the masonry joints. These updates significantly improved the home's water management and structural durability against the elements.
