We performed specialized chimney repair and flashing maintenance on this Kansas City residence. Our team installed new black metal step flashing and a rubberized waterproof membrane around the base of the brick chimney to ensure a complete seal against the elements. We carefully integrated these components with the existing architectural asphalt shingles to prevent future leaks at the roof transition points. In addition to the masonry work, we replaced worn plumbing boot flashings and secured various roof penetrations. This updated flashing system provides a durable barrier that protects the home’s structure and improves the overall functionality of the roofing system.
