We performed emergency water damage mitigation for a property in Miami that experienced significant interior leaking near the utility closet. Using thermal imaging and digital moisture meters, we identified saturated areas in the carpeting and wall structures to map the exact extent of the moisture. Our team extracted standing water and removed damaged carpet padding to protect the concrete subfloor and prevent further deterioration. To ensure the structure was completely dry, we deployed industrial air movers and high-capacity dehumidifiers throughout the affected hallways and storage spaces. We also removed sections of damaged drywall to inspect the concrete block and facilitate deeper drying of the wall cavities. Once moisture levels returned to safe standards, we completed the structural drying process to stabilize the environment and prepare for restoration.
