We addressed significant water damage and mold growth at a residential condominium in Cutler Bay. Our team performed controlled demolition, including flood cuts to remove impacted drywall and baseboards around the kitchen island and perimeter walls. We utilized moisture meters to identify saturation points within the wall cavities and subflooring. To ensure the structure was properly dried, we deployed industrial-grade dehumidifiers and high-velocity air movers throughout the kitchen and living areas. We exposed the metal framing and fiberglass batt insulation to facilitate airflow and prevent further microbial growth. This comprehensive drying process ensured the home was stable and ready for the reconstruction phase.
