We replaced a weathered, peeling wooden deck with a modern composite structure for this Marietta home. Our team installed new dark gray composite decking boards and updated the entire railing system to improve the functionality of the outdoor living space. The project involved a complete tear-out of the old surface to prepare for the more durable materials. We integrated a matching lattice privacy screen and built a new set of stairs leading down to a gravel landing pad. We used pressure-treated wood for the structural railings and vertical balusters to provide a secure perimeter around the elevated platform. This renovation creates a clean and low-maintenance transition from the home's French doors to the backyard.
