We transformed a weathered, dated wooden deck into a modern, multi-level outdoor living space for this Marietta home. Our team designed and built an elevated composite deck complete with a custom covered gabled porch and a new staircase leading to a concrete landing. We focused on creating a seamless transition from the home's interior to a functional, all-weather exterior retreat. The project features dark gray composite decking for low-maintenance durability and a vaulted tongue-and-groove wood ceiling with recessed lighting and a ceiling fan. We integrated a stacked stone fireplace with a linear electric unit and a dedicated stone veneer wall for outdoor entertainment. These upgrades, along with black metal balusters and infrared heaters, provide a sophisticated finish that ensures year-round usability of the backyard.
