We constructed a new covered rear porch for this residential home in Acworth to expand the outdoor living space. Our team framed a substantial gabled roof structure supported by durable white columns and integrated it directly into the existing home’s roofline. We focused on creating a seamless architectural transition that complemented the original building. The project featured a decorative wooden truss and a beautiful tongue-and-groove wood ceiling finished with a dark stain. We incorporated functional modern touches including recessed lighting and a central ceiling fan to enhance the usability of the patio. This addition transformed the open concrete area into a comfortable, weather-protected retreat for the homeowners.
