We completed a custom backyard transformation in Acworth involving the construction of a new screened-in porch and an attached wooden deck. The project included building a gabled roof extension to seamlessly integrate the new outdoor living space with the home’s existing architecture. We also installed a set of stairs with black metal balusters that provide direct access from the deck to the lawn. For the interior of the porch, we installed a white beadboard ceiling featuring recessed lighting and a dark ceiling fan to ensure comfort. The structure was built using pressure-treated wood for durability and finished with black vertical metal balusters for a modern look. This new space provides a functional protected area for dining and relaxation that blends perfectly with the existing home.
