We transformed this backyard by replacing an existing pergola and dated deck with a custom screened-in porch and an expanded wooden deck. Our team constructed a new gabled roof structure to house the screened area, ensuring it integrated seamlessly with the existing home's siding and roofline. We also built a separate, open-air deck section designed for lounging and outdoor activities in Acworth. The project featured a polished tongue-and-groove wood ceiling with a central ceiling fan and recessed lighting for the screened interior. For the exterior surfaces, we used light-toned pressure-treated lumber and added a tall privacy fence section to create a secluded atmosphere. String lights and a new concrete patio base completed the space, providing a durable and functional environment for year-round enjoyment.
