We built a custom two-story deck and screened porch addition for this white brick home in Marietta. The project involved framing a vertical structure with pressure-treated lumber to create both a ground-level covered porch and a second-story balcony. We replaced the original exterior wall space with a functional multi-level outdoor living area. The finished structure features durable light-toned wooden decking, classic white square columns, and a white beadboard ceiling on the lower level. We installed a ceiling fan and hanging porch swings to enhance the comfort and utility of the ground-level space. The addition was completed with matching wood railings and screened-in upper sections to provide a protected, versatile outdoor environment.
