We completed a multi-level outdoor living project for this residential property in Atlanta, Georgia. Our team built an elevated wooden deck and a custom screened-in porch addition above the home's existing two-car garage. This project involved extensive structural framing and the installation of support posts anchored to concrete footers to ensure long-term stability for the upper levels. We utilized pressure-treated lumber for the entire structure, including the joists, beams, and vertical balusters. The screened-in portion features dark insect screening to provide a protected outdoor space, while the open deck area offers an functional view of the yard. We also integrated white metal downspouts to manage drainage and finished the installation with galvanized hardware for superior durability.
