We completed a comprehensive deck reconstruction and extension for this two-story residence in Canton. We replaced the existing multi-level structure with a new, elevated deck featuring pressure-treated lumber and reinforced diagonal bracing. The project involved integrating the new deck with the existing screened-in porch and ensuring structural stability with dark-stained support posts. We used durable pressure-treated wood for the railings and decking surfaces to ensure long-term resistance to the elements. Below the main structure, we installed landscape timber steps to provide clear access from the elevated deck to the lower yard and concrete patio area. This project significantly expanded the outdoor living space while improving the overall structural integrity of the home's rear exterior.
