We constructed a new elevated screened-in porch addition for this residence in Atlanta. The project involved framing a gabled roof structure over a custom deck platform, installing integrated stairs, and enclosing the space with professional-grade screening. We finished the interior with a vaulted tongue-and-groove wood ceiling and installed gray beadboard wainscoting for a refined aesthetic. Exterior details included matching the existing red siding, adding a decorative circular gable window, and installing durable dark lattice skirting. We utilized composite decking and James Hardie products to ensure a long-lasting, weather-protected finish. The result is a functional outdoor living space that seamlessly integrates with the home’s original architecture.
