We designed and built an elevated wooden deck and integrated screened-in porch for this multi-story residence in Canton. The project involved installing structural framing supported by concrete footings, followed by the installation of white railing systems, stairs, and a vaulted wood-paneled ceiling. We completed the interior with recessed lighting, a ceiling fan, and screened wall panels to provide a weather-protected outdoor living space. The final build features a staircase leading directly to the lawn, creating a seamless transition between the elevated porch and the backyard. This addition provides a durable, versatile space that expands the home’s functional living area while maintaining a consistent aesthetic with the existing architecture. The new structure offers both an open-air deck area and a comfortable, enclosed retreat for year-round use by the homeowners.
