We constructed an elevated screened-in porch and upgraded the outdoor living space for this multi-story home in Atlanta. The project involved installing a new white-framed screen enclosure over the existing garage level to create a sheltered environment. We integrated the structure seamlessly with the home's gray siding and established a durable foundation using sturdy structural posts. We installed composite deck flooring for low-maintenance durability and added black metal safety railings along the interior screen panels. The space features high-visibility mesh screening to provide protection from insects while maintaining views of the surrounding property. This addition provides a functional, shaded retreat that significantly increases the home's usable outdoor square footage.
