We constructed a new elevated deck and custom screened-in porch to expand the outdoor living space of this Dallas home. The project began with a robust pressure-treated wood frame supported by vertical posts to accommodate the sloped backyard. We integrated the new structure seamlessly with the existing siding to create a durable and functional multi-level addition. The finished space features brown composite decking and a striking dark-stained tongue-and-groove wood ceiling. We installed recessed lighting and a central ceiling fan to enhance the porch's usability during warmer months. White structural posts and black metal balusters provide a clean, modern contrast that offers clear views of the surrounding wooded landscape.
