We completed a comprehensive exterior renovation and room addition for this home in Decatur. We enclosed an existing covered patio area, transforming it into a functional interior space through new framing, subflooring, and ceiling joists. The project also involved updating the home's exterior envelope with a new weather-resistant barrier and fresh siding. We installed Surround brand weather-resistant house wrap and high-quality white-framed windows to improve energy efficiency and protection. The exterior was finished with light green horizontal siding and dark shutters, while the interior was integrated seamlessly with matching walls and trim. This transformation significantly increased the home's usable square footage and updated its overall aesthetic.
