Pressure-Treated Deck Staircase Replacement and Railing Installation in Canton
We replaced an aging wooden staircase to improve access between the ground-level concrete walkway and the elevated deck. Our team removed the weathered treads and railings, reconstructing the entire flight of stairs to ensure structural integrity and safety. We integrated the new build with existing landscape features, including the stacked stone retaining wall and the upper balcony area. We used pressure-treated lumber for the treads and framing to provide long-term durability against the elements. The project included the installation of a dark-stained railing system and a metal safety gate at the top landing to match the existing deck aesthetic. This update provides a clean, sturdy transition from the home exterior to the backyard and wooded clearing.
