Pressure-Treated Porch Railing and Staircase Upgrade in Cumming
We completed a front porch renovation for this home in Cumming, Georgia. The project focused on replacing the existing, weathered white-painted railings and stairs that had reached the end of their lifespan. We removed the old wood components and installed new, durable pressure-treated lumber for the railings, balusters, and stair treads. The new structure features square pressure-treated balusters and sturdy support posts to ensure long-term safety and stability. We also added a secondary black handrail along the new stairs to meet functional needs and enhance accessibility. This update restored the home's entryway, providing a clean and refreshed look that integrates seamlessly with the existing siding and dark-stained porch floor.
