We replaced an aging, red-painted wooden deck and staircase at this residence in Kennesaw. The project involved removing the existing structure and installing a new elevated deck system to provide secure access to the upper-level screened porch. We used pressure-treated lumber for the framing and decking to ensure long-term durability and resistance to the elements. The new railings were finished with vertical black metal balusters for a clean, modern look that maintains visibility into the wooded backyard. We also poured a new concrete landing pad at the base of the stairs and secured the support posts in concrete footings to provide a stable foundation.
