We replaced a weathered, sagging deck and an aging footbridge at this residence in Atlanta. The project involved the complete removal of the original structures to make way for a new, multi-level elevated deck attached to the red brick exterior. We also rebuilt the wooden footbridge spanning the property’s natural water feature to restore safe access to the wooded landscape. For the deck construction, we used pressure-treated lumber floorboards and installed a modern railing system featuring black metal balusters. These materials were chosen to provide a clean, contemporary aesthetic that complements the home's architecture while ensuring long-term durability. The finished outdoor space offers a functional, upgraded area for dining and relaxation overlooking the backyard.
