We constructed a custom screened-in porch addition and installed a new concrete patio for this Douglasville residence. The project involved framing a new gabled roof structure with pressure-treated lumber and integrating it into the existing home’s exterior. We also updated the home's aesthetic by applying new navy blue horizontal lap siding over the previous finish. The interior of the porch features a vaulted ceiling finished with natural tongue-and-groove wood planks and recessed lighting. We installed a decorative ceiling fan with leaf-shaped blades and a white storm door to provide a comfortable, insect-free environment. The finished space offers a durable outdoor living area that blends perfectly with the updated siding and brick accents.
